Siu Ling Hui ACIS.  Director/Principal of In-Context Finance.

Siu Ling has held senior roles with various major financial institutions including Citibank, Westpac and GE Commercial in corporate finance and business banking. She was responsible for delivering value added solutions to the top 500 private companies, mid-sized publicly listed companies as well as SMEs.

Completely customer-centric and results-driven in her approach, her business acumen, strategic and lateral thinking abilities coupled with sound financial and risk management skills enabled her to forge “trusted partnerships” in all her client relationships. She has a solid track record in effectively and efficiently delivering financing solutions, particularly where complex structures and/or “out of the box” issues or requirements are involved. As one client put it: “Everything works now.” 

Having been through several economic and credit cycles, she has “hands on” experience with turnarounds and litigation. The benefit of the experience of adversity is constructively applied in assisting businesses with implementing proactive strategies for long term sustainability and profitability.

Michael Royal

Michael is the Founder/Principal of the consulting firm BIR Solutions.

Michael’s expertise in reconstructions and solvency issues are invaluable in giving businesses and their stakeholders the best chance of a fresh start and hope for the future. Businesses hit lumps and bumps along the way. Early problem recognition and a practical and proactive approach to damage control and reconstruction contributes greatly to achieving critical support from stakeholders, including financiers,

Michael was for many years a senior member of the Andersen Corporate Recovery Team in the Sydney office, culminating in 4 years as Partner (1991 – 1995). At Andersen, he worked on a large number of assignments ranging from the very large and complex to a multitude of smaller projects. He was one of global 4-partner team which wrote the “Turnaround Consulting Guide for Distressed Companies”. He subsequently wrote another book “Improving Business Performance”.

Since leaving Andersen, Michael has worked as CEO in a number of industries including marketing, hospitality, food and manufacturing. These experiences have given him a practical understanding of the issues faced by business owners and managers, particularly the challenges of dealing with the multitude of pressing issues with competing priorities when the financial viability of the business is uncertain.

His experiences on “both sides of the fence” coupled with empathy for various stakeholders in a business enables him to finding acceptable solutions for all parties in even the most difficult situations.

Françoise Garnier

David Gunzburg

David Is the Principal of DGHR Services, a specialist HR consultancy.
